Flat Roofing Solutions

Flat roof failures are almost always the result of a poor system specification or a badly executed detail rather than the roof design itself. We install torch on felt and liquid silicone systems to extensions, dormers, garages, porches and commercial units throughout Dublin.

Where the existing deck is sound, liquid silicone is often the faster option, as it is applied over the existing covering with no strip out. Torch on felt remains the standard for full replacement. We will advise which system suits your roof and your budget.

Velux & Skylight Installation

A roof window is the most cost effective way to bring natural light into an attic conversion or a dark landing. We cut in, flash and finish Velux roof windows and skylights on slate and tile roofs, and install flat roof rooflights to extensions and dormers.

Flashing is the origin of most rooflight leaks, so we take particular care over that detail and use the correct flashing kit for the roof covering. We also repair and replace older units that have failed or misted.

Chimney Repairs, Lead Flashings & Lead Work

Chimneys and lead details account for more leaks than any other element of an Irish roof. We repoint and rebuild stacks, replace cracked flaunching and pots, fit cowls, and cap off stacks that are no longer in use.

Leadwork is a specialist discipline in its own right. We form and fit code appropriate flashings, soakers, saddles, valleys and parapet gutters, and repair or replace lead that has split or lifted. Correctly executed, it will last for decades.

uPVC Fascia, Soffit & Gutters

Rotten timber fascia and failing gutters cause gradual and costly damage to a building. Replacing them with uPVC resolves the problem permanently and improves the appearance of the property, typically within one to two days.

We strip out the existing timber, inspect the rafter feet, and install new uPVC fascia, soffit, gutters and downpipes in your choice of colour. We also carry out gutter repairs, realignment, cleaning and individual downpipe replacement where a full replacement is not required.

Emergency Roof Repairs

Storm damage does not occur within office hours. Where slates have been displaced, a gutter has come down or water is entering through a ceiling, contact us and we will attend to make the roof safe and stop the ingress.

Where conditions allow we will temporarily seal or sheet the roof, then return to complete the permanent repair. We also provide full photographic documentation of the damage to support an insurance claim.
